I am Zhenhui Xu, emploeed as an algorithm expert in Meituan. Before this, I was an applied algorithm researcher at Tencent. My expertise lies in the application of machine learning in advertising or marketing platforms.

Prior to joining Tencent, I obtained my Master’s degree in Data Science from Peking University’s Center for Data Science. During my time at Peking University, I had the privilege of being a long-term research intern at Microsoft Research Asia’s Machine Learning Group. My research focused on various areas, including Neural Networks, Graph Networks, Ensemble Trees Models (such as GBDT), pre-training language models, and related fields.

Before my time at Peking University, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science through the Tang Aoqing Honors Program at Jilin University. During my undergraduate studies, I actively participated in the ACM-ICPC programming contest and achieved the silver medal in the 40th ACM-ICPC Asian Regional Contest at USTC.

My research interests revolve around machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, with a particular focus on their theoretical foundations and practical applications, such as Advertising Recommendation and Text Mining. I have experience in optimizing neural networks for tabular learning and model compression. Additionally, I am well-versed in various natural language processing techniques, including large language models (LLMs), knowledge graph embedding, and text classification. Currently, my primary focus is on user mining and content understanding, aiming to uncover users’ interests and intentions in the advertising domain.
